This will be a light and dark only monsters guide for Summoners War. If you are playing light and dark only or want to try, it is the expectation that you know a bit about the game already therefore, there will not be a lot of beginner stuff. I will not be going over things like scenarios and saving monsters for power ups, these are more of mid game to end game focused guides. There are a many other guides that cover the early game stuff over and over. However, feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Feel free to go to the "More" tab an touch on topics like "SW Terminology" to better understand the language I will be using in case you are not familiar with certain words.

I personally do not use dupes of any kind so none of my guides or tests will be with the use of any dupes. This website will be an ongoing project so keep checking in! I have a lot of topics I plan to touch on, if I have no information posted yet, it will just say "Coming Soon". If you cant find any topic about something your looking for, it means I do not currently plan to touch on it, however, please bring it to my attention! Are you on the fence about L/D only? Here are some advantages and disadvantages of going L/D only.

Advantages to playing L/D only:

• There less monsters to worry about therefore a more focused approach.

• No need to worry about elemental disadvantages like crushing hits/ Glancing/ increased crit.

• Able to focus your best runes on less monsters to clear same amount of content.

• Allows you to know ALL your available units more easily and all their skill sets.

• More unique/ less common monsters so entertaining to play and broadens your knowledge, even intrigues veteran players all over again.

• Less players know what some of the less popular L/D monsters do so adds strategic advantage in a PVP setting. Especially world arena.

• When/if you do progress far, people really notice!

Disadvantages to playing L/D only:

• Less monsters to work with so certain fights are MUCH more difficult.

• Can't use elemental advantage in most content.

• The beginning is much slower and more difficult since accumulating a healthy foundation of monsters that have the skill sets you need takes a lot longer.

• Simply takes longer to get new monsters period since L/D scrolls are rare.

• It can be hard eating all your OP Meta monsters.

• Less support and guides overall.
